Special dinner in honor of BCCI President brings together representatives of the diplomatic corps and institutions

The President of the Association of Bulgarian-Arab Economic Chambers and the Lebanese-Bulgarian Business Council, Ahmad Alaedin, hosted a special dinner in honor of the President of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Tsvetan Simeonov. The event took place with the exclusive assistance of the doyen of the diplomatic corps in Bulgaria, H.E. Zakia El Midaoui, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Morocco. The dinner was attended by over 50 representatives of the diplomatic corps, state institutions, parliament and business circles.

H.E. Zakia El Midaoui, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Morocco, also extended his greetings to the President of the BCCI, noting his role in strengthening the ties between the diplomatic community and Bulgarian business, as well as in building a sustainable dialogue between institutions and entrepreneurs.

In his speech, Tsvetan Simeonov thanked for the recognition and emphasized that he accepts it as a well-deserved assessment of the activities of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, which is an organization with a 131-year history, over 55 thousand members and representations in all municipalities in Bulgaria. He expressed gratitude to the diplomatic corps for the active cooperation in the development of bilateral economic relations. Simeonov noted the importance of the improving political situation in the Gulf and expressed hope for a more stable and peaceful international environment.

During the event, the guests were also greeted by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Hristo Polendakov and Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly Ivan Angelov.

The dinner provided an opportunity for bilateral talks and the identification of initiatives for bilateral and multilateral economic cooperation. The event took place in an atmosphere of friendship and mutual respect, confirming the importance of cooperation between diplomatic circles, business and institutions for the development of Bulgaria's international economic relations.
