28 September 2016 – Conference “Liberalization of Trade and Services in the Danube, Western Balkans, and CEFTA Regions”


The Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI), together with the DIHK-CEFTA Partnership Project “Implementation of CEFTA in order to improve the internationalization of SEE economy”, the Western Balkans Chamber Investment Forum (WB CIF), and the Danube Chambers of Commerce Association (DCCA) organizes a Conference on the “Liberalization of Trade and Services in the Danube, Western Balkan, and CEFTA Regions” which will take place on 28th September 2016 at BCCI. The Conference will be a follow-up to the 6th Danube Region Conference organized by the Austrian Economic Chamber (WKO) on 13th September 2016 in Vienna.

The event will be an excellent tool for encouraging synergy between the countries in the Danube Region, Western Balkans and SEE and to support the interest of SMEs in international trade.

Representatives of the public authorities, the chambers of commerce and industry from the region, the diplomatic corps, the business and the media will take part in the conference.

The main topics to be discussed during the conference are: the European Union Strategy for the Danube Region, the Danube Transnational Programme, business climate and investment opportunity in the Danube region, Western Balkans and the CEFTA region, transport infrastructure – regional policy and projects, sustainable management of tourism services.

Companies that are willing to take part in the conference are required to send a filled-in registration form to: v.velichkov@bcci.bg no later than 26 September 2016 /Monday/. Participation is free. Working languages – Bulgarian, Envlish.
