9 September – presentation of BCCI’s Economic Classification „TOP 100“


For the 18th consecutive year BCCI has prepared a classification of the leading companies in the Bulgarian economy – those that ended 2015 with very good indicators and have significant contribution to the development of Bulgarian economy.

The classification is based solely on objective data from the financial reports of companies for 2015. More than 6000 companies accounting for almost 85% of the country’s GDP are included in the classification:

The “TOP 100” classification presents the highest ranking companies according to the following criteria:

·       Alteration of net sales revenue 2015/2014.

·       Maximum value of profit in BGN on 100 BGN equity in 2015.

·       Maximum value of profit in BGN on 100 BGN sales revenue in 2015.

·       Alteration of profit 2015/2014.

·       Maximum value of net sales revenue and profit in 2015 in the national planning regions.

With its classification, BCCI promotes the results of the companies not only in Bulgaria but also abroad and helps better present the achievements of Bulgarian economy.

The official presentation of the “TOP 100” classification will take place on 9 September 2016, 11:30 a.m.

The classification “TOP 100 Companies leading in the Bulgarian economy” is published in Bulgarian and English, and is available online and in print. In Bulgaria the “TOP 100” publication is circulated during 215 business events annually. Worldwide the classification is sent to 120 chambers of commerce, to the members of EUROCHAMBRES – 45 chambers of commerce from 43 countries with a network of 1700 regional and local structures and 20 million companies; to 330 members of the Association of World Trade Centers, and to more than 50 Bulgarian Commercial and Economic Sections abroad.
