Inflation has returned to its negative values in November, when the index of consumer prices decreased with 0.4 % compared to October.
This is evident by the latest data of the National Statistical Institute (NSI), released on15 December.
In the past year monthly inflation has been recorded only in four months – December 2013 and April, July and October 2014, causing the annual inflation to be minus 0.6 %.
The average annual inflation for the period between December 2013 and November 2014 compared to the previous 12 months is minus 1.5 %.
The transport services record the highest fall in prices – 3.3 %, with the prices of diesel decreasing with 5.6 %, A 95 H petrol with 5.8 %, A 98 H with 3 %, gas with 5.3 %, airplane tickets with 2 %.
The fall in the prices of foods and soft drinks is 0.4 %, while those of alcohol and cigarettes increase with 0.2 %.
The prices of clothes and shoes increase with 0.8 %, expenses on utilities rise by 0.2 %.
NSI records that coal prices have increased with 1.3 % on average, heating with 4.7 %.
The prices of medical services increased with 0.2 %, the prices of medicines and other pharmaceutical products as well as dental services remain at the level of the previous month.
