The market price index of the dwellings for the first quarter of 2013 compared to the fourth quarter of 2012 was 99.1%, i.e. the average decrease of the market prices of the dwellings was 0.9%.
The market price index of the dwellings for the first quarter of 2013 in comparison with the corresponding quarter of the previous year was 98.1%, i.e. the average decrease of the market prices of the dwellings was 1.9%.
In the first quarter of 2013 compared to the previous one, a price decrease was recorded in 21 district centres and in Sofia district. It was more considerable in Sliven - by 2.8%, Kyustendil - by 2.3%, and Pazardzhik - by 2.2%. Price increase was recorded in the remaining 6 district centres (Razgrad, Kardzhali, Ruse, Gabrovo, Lovech, and Haskovo).
In the first quarter of 2013 the average market price of the dwellings for the whole country was 866.84 Levs/sq. m. The highest ones were the average prices in Sofia (capital city) - 1 422.33 Levs/sq. m, followed by Varna - 1 409.67 Levs/sq.m and Burgas - 1 129.67 Levs/sq. m.
