Since its first edition in 1999, the Southeast Europe Forum has proved to be one of the most important economic events in the calendar of the region. Traditionally, the Forum is a meeting point for political leaders, business decision-makers and media from the Balkans. During the years the event was always supported by the governments from Southeast Europe.
In 2011, the organizers decided to rebrand the event and starting from 2012 to host it in different places in Southeast Europe under the name of Southeast Europe Business Forum.

Participating countries: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Romania, Serbia, Turkey
Market: all countries in SEE represent a market of over 150 million consumers
The discussions in 2012 will focus on the following topics:
- Doing Business in SEE. The Investors' Insight
- Exploring New Opportunities for Growth and Prosperity by Modern Use of Natural Resources (sessions: Hydro Energy, Mining and Chemical Industries, Agriculture);
- Developing Infrastructure for Better Investment Climate and Higher Quality of Life (sessions: Transport, ICT and Telecommunication Sectors, Environment).
Mission:
- to promote the public debate on the most urgent issues of economic development in the region;
- to assist the networking between companies in Southeast Europe;
- to generate ideas for future co-operation among governments, business representatives and leaders.
