Bulgaria was once again promoted as an investment destination in the day of presentation of Bulgaria – 14th May in Milan. Economic delegation of Bulgaria, led by the Deputy Minister of Economy and Energy, Mrs. Anna Yaneva with the participation of representatives and the president of the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Bulgaria, Mr. Marco Montecchi and in the presence of the Ambassador of the Republic of Bulgaria in Italy, Marin Raykov, were presented investment opportunities in Bulgaria.
With aim to strengthen the trade and economic cooperation between Bulgaria and the region of Lombardy, the official delegation attended representatives of the InvestBulgaria Agency. They presented various sectors of Bulgarian industry with a focus on successful ones - machine building, food industry, electronics and furniture industry, which are priority business activities in this important Italian region with a concentration of industrial enterprises.
The event was initiated by the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Bulgaria in cooperation with the most important institutional and professional organizations in Lombardy - PROMOS, Foundation EMDS, AICE, Assolombardia and ISPI. The event was organized with the active support of the Honorary Consul of Bulgaria in Lombardy Mr. Marco Campanari.
