A new fish processing plant will be built in the small municipality of Hayredin in Northwest Bulgaria, with a population of only 5.626 people. This was announced by the Governor Ventsislav Vasilev. The investment in the new plant amounts to BGN 13,2 mln. 40% of the capital is provided by the German investor Felix Auaher, the rest is EU financing.
With the opening of the fish plant 60 new work places will be created. In the first stage of the investment the plant will be processing and canning ocean fish, mainly form Norway. In the next stage fish from Bulgarian freshwater pools would be processed. The ready products are going to be marketed in the EU countries.
