Plant in Knezha will create 4900 new jobs

Investor – producer of sportswear, jeans and leather jackets in Germany will build a huge textile factory in the Bulgarian city of Knezha. Vakas Malik has registered his company in "Avanstar Bulgaria" and received a Class A certificate for investment.

Malik has committed to invest BGN 55.1 million for three years and to create 4900 new jobs. As a future employment, this is the largest project in Bulgaria in the past 10 years. It is envisaged that after the first year will be employed about 1,000 people in the plant, and full employment will be reached after five years. This will solve the problems with the unemployment not only in Kneja but also in the neighboring municipalities of Byala Slatina, Cherven Briag, Oriahovo.
