The Minister of Economy handed three Class A investment certificates under the Investment Promotion Act

The Minister of Economy Lachezar Borisov handed three Class A investment certificates under the Investment Promotion Act (IPA) at a total value of nearly BGN 70 million and the creation of 340 new jobs. The official ceremony at the Ministry of Economy was also attended by Deputy Minister Stamen Yanev.

“Solvay Sodi” AD received a certificate for an investment project related to installation, production, packaging and storage.

“DB Cargo Bulgaria” EOOD was certified for the project "Diversification of an existing enterprise of DB Cargo Bulgaria EOOD", which will be implemented in the town of Karlovo, region Plovdiv.

Class A certificate was also given to the IT company "Scale Focus" for the investment project "Growth of FOCUS".

During the conversation, the representatives of the companies expressed their gratitude to the Ministry of Economy and the InvestBulgaria Agency (IBA) for the fruitful cooperation and assistance. Minister Borisov, for his part, assured those present that the money for the measures to support strategic investors has been secured.

At the moment, 56 projects with a total value of BGN 1,480.18 million are in the process of certification and over 4,911 jobs have been applied for.
