Germany will again begin to consider applications for providing investment guarantees for Bulgaria

After almost five years of being on a kind of "black list" for German investments, Germany will again encourage the investments of their companies in our country. Germany will begin to consider applications for providing investment guarantees for Bulgaria.

This decision was preceded by an agreement between the two governments to close negotiations on the Kloesters-Zemeko investment, which was backed by a federal guarantee. As the project of the company did not receive an EIA, the Ministries of Economy of the two countries agreed that Bulgaria would pay Germany compensation in the amount of EUR 2 million.
