H.E. Haxhi Bajraktari, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Kosovo in Sofia, visited BCCI and talked with its President Tsvetan Simeonov. Bujar Deskaj, Deputy Head of the Mission, also participated in the meeting.
The meeting discussed the current development of the trade and economic relations between both countries. Ambassador Bajraktari informed the participants that there is interest in importing different Bulgarian goods and products into the Kosovar market. The introduction of the Euro in Kosovo since the early 2002, as well as Bulgaria's forthcoming accession to the Eurozone were highlighted as advantages for any future trade deals. The geographical proximity to Kosovo is a favourable prerequisite for active bilateral economic relations.
During the conversation, it was agreed that the Embassy team, together with BCCI, will organise a Forum on the topic of How to do business with Kosovo.
