Restructuring of production, joint projects between companies, new distributors and customers are some of the results presented during the closing ceremony of the training program EXPO1.
The pilot training program EXPO1, which is part of the Export Hub Bulgaria ended with a closing online event.
Export Hub Bulgaria is a public-private initiative that works to increase the export potential of Bulgarian business. BCCI is among its founders and a partner in the implementation of the training program.
The 15 companies – participants in the program shared their progress during the program along with their mentors.
The event was opened by the Executive Director of the Bulgarian SME Promotion Agency – initiator of Export Hub Bulgaria, Boyko Takov PhD. and Mr.Todor Mladenov, Executive Director of Sofia Tech Park – the organization hosting the events from EXPO1.
Some of the guests who joined the online ceremony were the lecturers of the program, who within 3 months held 12 intensive webinars regarding some of the most important topics concerning export-oriented companies.
On other hand, some representatives of the Bulgarian Commercial Sections abroad also expressed their impressions of the program. They took part in the program in special online meetings where the opportunities of entry in different international markets were explained.

Together we have proved that with joint efforts we can achieve serious results in terms of supporting companies,” commented Boyko Takov PhD., the Executive Director of BSMEPA.

We can’t wait to see the progress of the companies, as well as to see which tools in the program were the most effective, to make an analysis and improve it for the next editions,” commented Mr. Todor Mladenov, the Executive Director of Sofia Tech Park.

We really create a story, presenting this interesting program. With this selection of companies and lecturers and mentors, we have done something revolutionary. We have shown the exceptional talent that we have in Bulgaria and if we are united, it will increase our competitiveness,” said Genoveva Hristova – lecturer, mentor at EXPO1, and Managing Director in Ligna Group.
During the ceremony, the progress of each company was presented, which included going through a series of training webinars and individual meetings with a personal mentor whose role was to guide the enterprise on the path to the new foreign markets.
