The 30th anniversary of the Representation of the Munich Trade Fair in Bulgaria was celebrated on October 28 in Sofia. The President of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI), Mr. Tsvetan Simeonov, was among the distinguished guests at the event. On behalf of the Chamber, he presented a congratulatory address recognizing the Munich Trade Fair’s significant contribution as a driving force for partnerships and professional exchange between the German and Bulgarian business communities.
The message stated: “Thirty years of active operation signify sustainability, development, and successful fulfillment of the set objectives”.
The Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry highlights the long-standing strong relations between the German and Bulgarian business communities and reaffirms its commitment to supporting and promoting trade between the two countries. The Chamber also continues its successful cooperation with the German-Bulgarian Chamber of Industry and Commerce (AHK Bulgaria) in supporting entrepreneurs.
According to BCCI’s annual surveys on the interest of Bulgarian companies in business travel and international partnerships, Germany consistently ranks as the most preferred business destination and serves as a gateway for Bulgarian companies seeking international expansion.
Over the past three decades, Munich Trade Fair has meant a great deal for Bulgaria:
• a platform for exploring business potential;
• a gateway to the world, showcasing Bulgarian innovations;
• a venue for celebrating partnerships;
• a stage for professional exchange;
• and much more – connecting people and ideas.
Among the official guests at the celebration were: H.E. Irene Maria Plank, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Bulgaria; Ms. Merinda Lösle, Bavarian State Ministry for Economic Affairs, Regional Development and Energy; Mr. Falk Senger, Executive Director for Finance and Law, Munich Trade Fair;
