Cooperation between Bulgaria and Vietnam in the field of arbitration and alternative dispute resolution is being strengthened

The Arbitration Court at the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Vietnam International Arbitration Center signed a memorandum with the aim of strengthening cooperation in resolving international trade disputes and promoting a transparent and reliable investment environment. The documents were exchanged by the Chairman of the BCCI Tsvetan Simeonov and H.E. Nguyen Thi Minh Nguyet, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to the Republic of Bulgaria, during the Bulgarian-Vietnamese Business Forum in Sofia, within the framework of the official visit of a delegation led by the General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Tho Lam at the invitation of President Rumen Radev.

The memorandum provides for cooperation in jointly organizing conferences, seminars, workshops and/or other events on topics related to arbitration and alternative dispute resolution (ADR). A partnership is also being agreed upon in the development of training materials and dissemination of knowledge, exchange of information on legal trends, institutional practices, legislative and judicial updates, regional/international trends in arbitration and ADR.
