This week’s international programme of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry included a series of meetings with Spanish companies. Two of them – with the law firm Martinez - Echevarría, Perez & Ferrero and AIMEN Technology Center were held on 5 March, and the third meeting – with Metodo consultores took place on 8 March.
The President of BCCI and the Chairman of the Spanish – Bulgarian Business Council Dimitar Pampoulov met with the representatives of the Spanish companies and presented the business conditions in our country and the services which the Chamber provides, emphasizing on the services targeted at foreign companies and investors, as well as the opportunities for membership in the Spanish – Bulgarian Business Council.
The law firm Martinez - Echevarría, Perez & Ferrero has had a representative office in Bulgaria since 2004, which currently employs 10 legal experts. It mainly assists Spanish investors in the field of corporate, banking and European law. The possible fields of cooperation between BCCI and the law firm were discussed together with the possibility BCCI to organize a presentation of the company’s services in the future.
The Spanish technology center - AIMEN Technology Center is among the leading Spanish organizations in the field of welding, inspection and testing, metallurgy and laser technologies. The Center is looking for Bulgarian partners to jointly implement European projects in the field of ship-building, metallurgy and metal processing, and is ready to share its experience and expertise. BCCI offered its assistance in finding suitable partners. The Innovation Council with the Chamber may also be a useful associate.
The third Spanish company, which visited the Chamber this week, is Metodo Consultores. It provides consultation services for the development and implementation of projects funded by EU programmes and other sources. The company has already set up its office in Bulgaria, in addition to its offices in other countries in Southeast Europe and Latin America. The company also operates in the field of education and training based on modern technological developments and innovative methods, which save the trainees time in today’s dynamic world.
The President of BCCI and Ms. Alba Lopez, Project Manager at Metodo Consultores discussed specific cooperation opportunities for the development of projects in the field of ecology, green energy and energy saving technologies, which are among the main priorities for the next programme period 2014 – 2020.
