Successors of the Sofia Trade High School – the National High School in Finance and Business (NHSFB) and the National Trade and Banking High School (NTBHS), in collaboration with the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, celebrated the hundredth anniversary of the Sofia Trade High School during a formal ceremony session.
Our predecessors from the Sofia Chamber of Commerce and Industry, or the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry as it was renamed later, had the wisdom to initiate the establishment of the Sofia Trade High School.
The official event was attended by representatives of Sofia Municipality, the Ministry of Education, Youth and Science, the diplomatic corps, higher education institutions, partners and alumni of the NHSFB and NTBHS.
In his address BCCI’s President Tsvetan Simeonov was proud to underline that both high schools maintained the level and prestige of Bulgarian secondary education. Their alumni demonstrate their achievements and win both national and international awards in the U.S.A., France, Germany, Switzerland, Slovakia and Finland.
BCCI in conjunction with both high schools published an Almanac compiled of the most important historical facts of the establishment of the Sofia Trade High School up to today.
