OP Science and Education for Smart Growth and OP Environment 2014-2020 have been approved for Submission to the European Commission
OP Science and Education for Smart Growth and OP Environment have been approved for official submission to the European Commission. At its meeting today, the Coordination Council for the Management of EU Funds to the Council of Ministers considered and approved both documents and confirmed its readiness to submit them for a new round of negotiations with the Commission.
Last week, the Council approved the submission of OP Regions in Growth, OP Innovation and Competitiveness and OP Transport and Transport Infrastructure, which have already been submitted to the European Commission for comments.
“What we will certainly not sacrifice in the course of the accelerated pace at which we work is the quality of investment”, Deputy Prime Minister Tomislav Donchev, who is also Chair of the Council, said. “Our goal is to quickly solve long-delayed issues related to the preparation of programs and allow the use of European investment as soon as possible”, he added.
