Nigerian-Bulgarian Business Forum at BCCI Highlights Strong Potential for Cooperation



The Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) hosted the Nigerian-Bulgarian Business Forum, organized by the Bulgarian-African Chamber of Commerce and the Accolade Dynamics. The hybrid event brought together numerous companies from both countries.

The event opened with remarks by Nevena Lazarova, Bulgaria’s Deputy Minister of Economy and Industry, followed by keynote addresses from Akinremi Bolaji, Director at Nigeria’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Alexander Raychev, General Manager of LivePerson. The forum showcased dynamic panel discussions focused on smart agri-tech solutions, urban development, education, tourism, and sustainable development.

Several participants received recognition from Accolade Dynamics for their outstanding contributions to fostering business growth and economic development between Bulgaria and Nigeria. This acknowledgment reflects the genuine commitment of businesses from both nations to building long-lasting partnerships.

The forum showcased the substantial potential for cooperation between Bulgaria and Nigeria, with trade relations expanding by 400% over the past five years. Bulgaria’s strategic position as a gateway to European markets, combined with Nigeria’s growing economy and natural resources, creates exceptional opportunities for mutual prosperity.
