Business visit of TIF HELEXPO executives took place in Sofia last week. The Office of Economic and Commercial Affairs of the Embassy of Greece in Sofia organized a number of meetings with Bulgarian institutions.
Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry was on the top of the agenda of the delegation. President Tsvetan Simeonov met the President of HELEXPO Mr. Anastasios Tzikas, Mr. Kyriakos Pozrikidis, Managing Director, Mr. Alexis Tsaxirlis, General Manager, the Exhibition Organization Manager, Ms. Katerina Traptsionis and the BEYOND Organization Manager EXPO, Ms. Sevi Kaffa.
Simeonov introduced the activities of the BCCI, the regional network of Chambers of Commerce and Industry in the country, the branch organizations and members. He paid special attention to the excellent relations with partners from Greece and pointed to a number of events in the past year with a focus on promoting economic interaction in a bilateral aspect and on the Balkans as a whole.
During the meeting the executives of the Greek national exhibition organization had the opportunity to present a number of exhibitions - Forward Green Expo, Renewable EnergyTech Expo, Freskon Expo and Beyond Expo. Bulgaria participated in most of them in 2023 and it is expected to be active in 2024 as well in sequence of the very successful participation of Bulgaria as an honoured country in Thessaloniki International Fair in September last year.
Governmental and business bodies of Bulgaria with great influence and dynamics on the ground were approached by the delegation.
