Nunziante Coraggio, President of Confindustria Bulgaria, visited BCCI and met with its President, Mr. Tsvetan Simeonov. The meeting was also attended by Mariella Paneva, Head of Public Relations and Marketing, and Alessandro Borgato from the Communications Department of Confindustria Bulgaria.
During the discussion, the long-standing cooperation between the two organizations was reviewed, and new areas of future partnership were identified to support entrepreneurs and businesses from both countries. Mr. Simeonov briefed the guest on the new priorities of the Association of Bulgarian Employers’ Organizations (ABEO) for 2026.
Nunziante Coraggio highlighted the interest expressed by the Italian companies in the Bulgarian market in sectors such as logistics, high-speed rail transport, environmental technologies, navigation along the Danube River, and more.

According to data from the Bulgarian National Bank, as of the end of the second quarter of 2025, cumulative foreign direct investment from Italy in Bulgaria amounted to EUR 4.139 billion.
