The International Far Eastern Maritime Show 2018 in Vladivostok
This year, Vladivostok will host, for the first time, the International Far Eastern Maritime Show (IFEMS). Its principal events will take place on 26–28 July on the campus of the Far Eastern Federal University.
IFEMS will be the biggest business event on innovative shipbuilding, international naval cooperation and integration of the shipbuilding cluster of Russia’s Far East into shipbuilding in Asia Pacific.
The International Far Eastern Maritime Show will be held with the support of the Government of the Russian Federation and organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation.
Official delegations from China, India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, South Korea and Vietnam are expected to visit IFEMS 2018.
The programme of IFEMS 2018 features research and applied science conferences attended by members of the Government of the Russian Federation, Russian and foreign business communities and academics. The participants will also be offered a fascinating exhibition and entertainment programme.
Key topics of the business programme:
• Water transport in the age of digitalization and innovative development
• Shipbuilding. New opportunities in the development of cooperation and expanding localization
• Russia’s place in the international transport and logistics system
• The port today: from infrastructure to management
• Water tourism, ecology and clean navigation
• New legislation for the new age of water transport technologies
