Video conference Bulgaria as a new top "nearshoring" destination

InvestBulgaria Agency /IBA/ and thirteen of the Bilateral Chambers of Commerce and Industry jointly organize an international video conference to present Bulgaria as a new "nearshoring" destination worldwide on 28 January 2021, under the patronage of the Ministry of Economy.

The conference is part of an overall initiative conducted over the last half year, which aims to position Bulgaria as an excellent destination for production relocation in the process of shortening supply chains /nearshoring/. Lachezar Borisov, Minister of Economy, Stamen Yanev, Deputy Minister of Economy, economists, different analysts and business representatives in the country are expected to take part in the international conference.

The focus is on sectors with high added value and priorities for the sustainability of the Bulgarian economy in these difficult times for global business. It is expected that with the support of the Bulgarian Councils for Trade and Economic Affairs abroad and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) the conference will reach the largest possible audience of potential foreign investors who will receive information about the investment climate in the country, financial parameters in the EU, the low taxes, the educated and qualified labor force that our country offers to the multinational companies in order to move their production to Bulgaria.
