BCCI and the Armenian Embassy Discussed the Potential for Developing Bilateral Economic Relations
Bourgas will host an exhibition of Armenian products and services in April.
H.E. Ms Tsovinar Hambardzumyan, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Armenia in Bulgaria, visited BCCI and talked with its President Tsvetan Simeonov.
Mr Simeonov acquainted the guest with the Chamber activity in support of the business and its participation in the Association of Bulgarian Employers' Organisations (ABEO).
Ambassador Hambardzumyan presented her plans during her term of office in Bulgaria. Specific options for developing economic relations were also discussed. The participants discussed the possibility for the Bourgas Economic Zone to become a Hub for the export of Armenian products to the EU countries. In this connection, it was announced that an exhibition of Armenian products and services will be held in the town of Bourgas, in Flora Expo Centre in the period 16 – 18 April 2026. The hosts of the exhibition are Bourgas Municipality, the Bourgas Chamber of Commerce and Industry and "AM-BG IMPEX" Ltd Company.
The exhibition Programme has planned Seminars on the following topics: Customs procedures for import into the EU market; Current EU food safety requirements; Functions of the Free Economic Zone in Bourgas; Opportunities for cooperation in the tourist sector.
