The newly-appointed Ambassador of Albania visited BCCI
The newly-appointed Ambassador of Albania in Sofia - H.E. Ms. Donika Hoxha visited BCCI and met with the President of the Chamber Tsvetan Simeonov.
The aim of the meeting was to familiarize the Ambassador with the activities of BCCI and to discuss the opportunities for development of the bilateral trade and economic relations between Bulgaria and Albania.
Tsvetan Simeonov pointed out BCCI’s partnership relations with the Union of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Albania and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Tirana both on bilateral and multilateral basis – within the Association of Balkan Chambers (ABC) and EUROCHAMBRES.
The President of BCCI presented the latest achievements of the Chamber in the work of the voluntary Unified Trade Register and the Arbitration Court and through Ambassador Hoxha invited his Albanian colleagues to benefit from the experience of BCCI.
Ambassador Hoxha said that the main priority during her term of office in Sofia would be economic diplomacy and the development of bilateral commercial cooperation. According to her, the food industry, agriculture, tourism and construction are sectors of mutual interest.
Simeolnov expressed readiness on behalf of BCCI to assist Ambassador Hoxha in achieving her objectives during her mandate in Sofia.
