Tsvetan Simeonov met with representatives of the Danish – Bulgarian business community
The President of BCCI Tsvetan Simeonov took part in a meeting of the Danish – Bulgarian business community, organized by H.E. Sɵren Jacobsen, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Denmark in Sofia. The information association of the Bulgarian – Danish business was established in 2016 and since then has held regular meetings and maintained close contact with the diplomatic mission in Sofia.
At the invitation of the Danish Embassy in Sofia, the President of BCCI took part as a special guest in the meeting with representatives of Danish companies. He presented the work of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, its interaction with the institutions, the special services and cooperation it provides to Bulgarian and foreign businesses.
The participants in the meeting had a number of questions for Tsvetan Simeonov about the shortcomings of Bulgarian legislation that concern business, e-government, bureaucracy and corruption. The President of BCCI also explained the ways to deal with the lack of sufficient and well-trained staff, including: direct interaction between businesses, educational institutions and the Ministry of Education and Science; opportunities for labor import and recruitment of persons that have reached retirement age, and introduction of innovation to reduce the need of staff.
