Meeting with Fabrizio Zarcone, permanent representative of the World Bank for Bulgaria
The President of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) Tsvetan Simeonov met with Fabrizio Zarcone, permanent representative of the World Bank for Bulgaria since August this year. During the meeting, the President of BCCI introduced Mr. Zarcone to the year-long traditions and the work of the Chamber, as well as its membership in international organizations – the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), the World Trade Centers Association (WTCA), the Association of European Chambers of Commerce and Industry (EUROCHAMBRES), etc.
The future directions of BCCI’s work in Bulgaria and the conditions and trends of the business climate in the country were discussed. Sustainable development, environment, air quality, legislation and public procurement were also among the main topics of discussion. The parties agreed to share experience and good practices in order to improve the quality of education and to provide opportunities for informing stakeholders about the professions of the future.
The President of BCCI extended a special invitation to the guest for the Annual Awards of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, which traditionally will take place in the beginning of December.
BCCI and the World Bank have long-standing cooperation and have declared their willingness to continue it in the future.
