Presentation of the activities and services provided by the departments of the U.S. Embassy in Sofia

A presentation on the “Activities and services provided by the departments of the U.S. Embassy in Sofia” was conducted at the Вulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The event was jointly organized with the Commercial Service of the U.S. Embassy in Sofia.

The presentation was officially opened by the President of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mr. Tsvetan Simeonov. 

Deputy Chief of Mission at the Embassy of the USA in Sofia, Mr. Bryan Dalton, noted in his speech that the presentation is only part of the idea of the U.S. Embassy to promote its activities developed. Similar presentations are about to be conducted in other regions throughout the country with the assistance of the Regional Chambers of Commerce and Industry.

Mr. Thomas Bruns, Senior Commercial Officer at the U.S. Commercial Service in Sofia, and his colleagues presented the activities related to promoting the U.S. export and the protection of the interests of U.S companies in Bulgaria. Specialists from the Commercial Staff at the U.S. Commercial Service to the Embassy – Stanislava Dimitrova, Emily Taneva, Uliana Kanelli and Peter Delin, presented the services they provide, commercial delegations they organize, and the U.S. government agencies supporting the businesses. 

Mrs. Robin Brooks, head of the Economic Department of the U.S. Embassy in Sofia, presented the activities provided by the department, and the Agreement on Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership. 

Mila Boshnakova, Senior Expert from the Department of Agriculture, presented data on agricultural and food industry sectors.

Deborah Campbell. Council-General, presented the types of visas, the issuing procedures and the main points in conducting the visa interviews.
