Traditional meeting of the Club of Joint and Foreign Chambers – in a virtual format

The Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry hosted the traditional meeting of the Club of Joint and Foreign Chambers. This year the meeting was held in a virtual format.

The President of BCCI Tsvetan Simeonov made an overview of the economic year 2020 with an emphasis on the activities of business organizations in support of companies and the latest developments in the economic situation in the country. The participants in the meeting shared their experience in the past year, which reflects the challenges posed by the pandemic and the need companies and the business organizations that unite them to adapt to the new realities. Opinions on the topic were shared by colleagues from the Netherlands Chamber of Commerce, the Bulgarian – Australian Business Council, the Iranian – Bulgarian Business Association, and Confindustria Bulgaria.

The events related to the 20^th anniversary of Confindustria Bulgaria were mentioned. The management of the Bulgarian – Australian Business Council informed about the forthcoming launch of a new website of the Council. The Netherlands Chamber of Commerce is resuming its activities with a new management and an updated programme for 2021.

The participants in the meeting were acquainted with the results of EUROCHAMBRES Economic Survey 2021 (# EES2021).

Tsvetan Simeonov presented the activities that BCCI undertook to mark its 125^th anniversary, as well as the results of the Chamber’s annual awards which show the sustainability of Bulgarian companies in difficult times. More information HERE.
