How to register Trade Representation Offices of foreign entities in Bulgaria


In compliance with Art. 24, para 1 of the Investment Promotion Act, the Trade Register of the BCCI is compulsory for the trade representation offices of foreign persons. The Resolution for registration of the trade representation office with the BCCI has a constitutive character.

Status: The Trade Representation Office of a legal entity is a non-juridical entity not entitled to carry out any economic activities. The database of the registered trade representation offices is available online at BCCI’s website with free access provided thereto. An annual fee is to be paid for the purpose of its maintenance and updating, whereby the trade representation office uses additional package of services intended for it.
