Meeting with the newly-appointed Ambassador of Iran
The President of BCCI Tsvetan Simeonov had the first meeting with the newly-appointed Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Republic of Bulgaria H.E. Mr. Seyed Mohammad Javad Rasouli.
Ambassador Rasouli informed of his plans during his forthcoming term of office in Bulgaria and said that one of the goals of his mission is to assist and promote contacts and trade exchanges between companies from both countries.
Tsvetan Simeonov acquainted his guest with the activity of BCCI in support of business. He also noted the excellent cooperation with the Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture which dates back to 1975 when a cooperation agreement was signed between the two organizations.
The state of the bilateral economic relations was discussed. Bulgaria has an interest in closer cooperation with Iran in the field of economy, energy and scientific exchange.
