Upcoming initiatives for development of the trade and economic relations between Bulgaria and China
The Commercial Counsellor of the Embassy of China in Sofia Mr. YAO Chaoying and the First Secretary, Commercial Affairs Mr. LI Janren, visited BCCI and discussed with the Chamber’s President Tsvetan Simeonov upcoming initiatives for the development of the trade and economic relations between Bulgaria and China.
It was announced that a delegation of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) will visit Bulgaria in the period 13 – 16 September 2018. The aim of the visit is to promote two exhibitions which will be held in China – the 124th Canton Fair and the First China International Import Expo in Shanghai.
BCCI in cooperation with CCPIT and the Commercial Section of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Sofia will organize a promotional event, which will take place on 14 September /Friday/ in the building of the Chinese Embassy in Sofia, in order to provide additional information about the two exhibitions and to answer questions of the Bulgarian business regarding the opportunities and requirements for participation.
During the meeting, other joint initiatives were discussed, as a natural follow-up to the successful visit of the Chinese Prime Minister Li Keqiang in Sofia within the “16+1” initiative.
