BCCI’s Honorary Diploma for Mehmet Emrah Sazak


The President of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) Tsvetan Simeonov presented Mehmet Emrah Sazak, Chief Commercial Counsellor at the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey to the Republic of Bulgaria with an Honorary Diploma for his active collaboration with the Chamber and for his contribution to the development of the economic cooperation between Bulgaria and Turkey during his term of office in Sofia.

Mr. Sazak has been Chief Commercial Counsellor at the Embassy of Turkey in Bulgaria since 2014 and during his term of office organized a number of joint events with BCCI, including several business visits of delegations from the Başiskele Industrialists' and Businessmen's Association, BALKANTÜRKSİAD, the Confederation of Turkish Tradesmen and Craftsmen, etc.

The Commercial Section at the Turkish Embassy assisted BCCI for its participation in the third “Silk Road Businessmen Summit” in Trabzon and took part in the organization of several business forums in Turkey. Emrah Sazak helped intensify the work of the Bulgarian – Turkish Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Bulgarian – Turkish Economic Council, and organize regular meetings with the Foreign Economic Relations Board of Turkey – DEIK.

Tsvetan Simeonov wished Mr. Sazak success in his future endeavors and expressed BCCI’s readiness to assist the business from Bulgarian and Turkey.

BCCI’s cooperation with Turkey continues and the Chamber is preparing a business delegation to Ankara to participate in a Bulgarian – Turkish Business Forum, organized in cooperation with the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) in the period 13-14 November 2018.
