Within the visit of the Bulgarian business delegation in Astana, the President of BCCI Tsvetan Simeonov met with the newly appointed President of the Foreign Trade Chamber of Kazakhstan - Ayan Erenov. They discussed opportunities for cooperation between the two organizations through active exchange of information - economic, statistical, operative, commercial, and also for organizing business delegations and bilateral meetings.
Ayan Erenov said that Kazakh companies are interested in joint ventures with foreign partners, using their technological equipment.
Tsvetan Simeonov provided informational materials on the activities of BCCI. He informed in detail the President of the Foreign Trade Chamber of Kazakhstan on the electronic certificates of origin and the activities of the Arbitration Court. It was agreed to recommend to companies of both countries to include an arbitration clause in their contracts, with the country of the Defendant having competence of the arbitral tribunal; for Bulgaria this is the Arbitration Court at BCCI.
Other spheres of interaction were negotiated as well. A common view was expressed for all the new parameters of partnership to be formed and included in the Memorandum of Cooperation which is to be signed at the next session of the Joint Committee in Sofia.
