A business delegation from the cities of Suzhou and Hong Kong representing the sectors of science and technology, agriculture, textiles and art visited BCCI and met with the Deputy President of the Chamber, Mr. Georgi Stoev. He presented to the guests the activities developed by BCCI and the network of 28 regional chambers, the involvement of the Chamber in the social dialogue as a nationally represented employers' organization, the cooperation with partners from China and the initiative taken by BCCI to develop a website in Chinese.
Representatives of the Chinese business have shown interest in the business and investments in Bulgaria, the sectors of mutual interest and opportunities for the Bulgarian Government to stimulate foreign investments.
Georgi Stoev expressed the readiness of BCCI to assist the business of Suzhou and Hong Kong for the development of bilateral trade and economic relations.
On the Chinese side an intention was stated that a new delegation from Suzhou and Hong Kong should visit BCCI until late this year or early next year.
Both guests and hosts expressed confidence that the development of cultural relations between China and Bulgaria will help businesses overcome the differences.
