H.E. Saker Malkaui, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in Bucharest and accredited to Bulgaria, met the President of BCCI Tsvetan Simeonov.
The development of economic and trade relations, both between the two countries and in the region of Southeast Europe, was discussed.
Ambassador Malkaui informed of the stable economic development of Jordan, which is a good factor for active bilateral relations. The country can be the gateway for Bulgarian goods to the Arabian Peninsula.
Tsvetan Simeonov said he could see unused potential in the bilateral economic cooperation. In this connection, it was agreed that in 2016 in order to revive the economic relations, the Embassy and BCCI would jointly organize a bilateral economic forum with the participation of experts from Jordan.
