

Yuan Kehua, Commercial Counselor at the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Bulgaria and Luo Pengcheng, Third Secretary, trade issues, discussed with the management of BCCI a draft Memorandum of Understanding between the BCCI and the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, the largest bank in the world in total assets and accumulated capital. The document focuses on the cooperation to promote cross-border e-commerce between Bulgaria and China.
The forthcoming Trade and Economic Forum between China and the countries of Central and Eastern Europe, which will be held during the fourth meeting of the leaders of China and the CEE / the initiative 16+ 1 / from 23rd to 26th November in Suzhou city and in Beijing was also discussed. The participation in the meeting of the Prime Minister of Bulgaria – Mr.Boyko Borisov is envisaged.
Bulgarian business delegation will participate in the Forum and Mr.Vasil Todorov, Secretary General of BCCI and Mr.Stoycho Stoychev – Chairman of Yambol CCI will be the representatives of BCCI.
The main topics at the forum will be:
- joint efforts to build the ‘One Belt and One Road’
- complementary advantages, to further the cooperation in industry park construction
- tapping on the potentials, to enrich the ‘internet plus’ strategy.
