The President of BCCI Tsvetan Simeonov was re-elected as member of the Board of Directors of Eurochambres and the Vice-President of BCCI Georgi Stoev as a member of the Budgetary Committee.
The elections for President, Deputy Presidents and new members of the Board of Directors and the Budgetary Committee of Eurochambres took place during the meeting of the Board of Directors of the Association in Luxembourg on 16 October. BCCI was represented by the Vice-President of the Chamber Georgi Stoev.
Richard Weber was re-elected as President of Eurochambres.
The participants in the 118th plenary assembly and meeting of the Board of Directors were greeted by the President of Eurochambres Richard Weber who presented a report on the activity of the Association. Stephan Muechler, Chairman of the Budgetary Committee presented a business plan for the development of Eurochambres in the period 2016-2018. The Secretary General of Eurochambres Arnaldo Abruzzini presented the results of the traditional survey on the priorities of businesses in 2016. The meeting continued with discussions on migration.
The draft-programme for the upcoming meetings and events was also discussed in Luxembourg, among which the 4th European Parliament of Enterprises scheduled for 13th October 2016 in Brussels. The Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry traditionally takes part in the event.
