BCCI and the Georgian Wine Association with a new project under the East Invest 2 initiative


A representative of BCCI took part in the meeting that gave the start to bilateral projects under the East Invest 2 initiative in Odessa, Ukraine on 19th – 21st October 2015.

During the meeting, 13 projects with beneficiaries from the Eastern Partnership countries – Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine, were presented. BCCI presented its project with the Georgian Wine Association whose main goal is to develop an on-line platform for the wine industry and to provide consultations in the field of wine-making and vine-growing. The project envisages carrying out research, holding seminars, developing a platform and conducting an on-line survey on the satisfaction of participants as well as other activities within 18 months.

The project was also chosen by the European Commission to present during the “Eastern Partnership Conference” in Odessa on 21st October 2015.

The agenda of the meeting in Odessa continued with a conference on themes concerning increasing competitiveness of SMEs, digitalization of enterprises and the role of local and state authorities in the progress of SMEs.
