BCCI is preparing the new classification “TOP 100 leading Bulgarian companies in the economy of 2012”

For the 15th consecutive year, the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry is preparing classifications of the leading companies in the Bulgarian economy – those companies, which ended 2012 with very good economic results and are the backbone of the Bulgarian economy. The presentation of the leading companies is a sign for all investors and partners that there are still vital companies in Bulgaria, which have managed to develop themselves successfully even in the difficult economic conditions, and have contributed to the improved position of the Bulgarian economy and its increased rating.

Many foreign and Bulgarian institutions, banks, embassies accredited to our country, representation offices of international organizations have expressed interest in the classifications.

The Top 100 most successful companies included in the classifications were selected according to standard criteria:

  • Companies which have ended 2012 with a profit and net sales revenue for 2011 exceeding BGN 100 000;
  • Three classifications of 100 companies, ranked according to criteria for dynamism and profitability. These are the companies with highest “Alteration of sales revenue in 2012 as compared to 2011”, “Maximum value of profit on 100 BGN Equity in 2012” and “Maximum value of profit on 100 BGN sales revenue in 2012”.

Besides, the publication will rank the top 10 companies with maximum sales revenue for 2012 in the national planning regions and other various classifications.

The classifications will be officially announced at a press-conference at the end of  September.
