Dimitar Dimitrov, the newly appointed commercial attaché of Bulgaria in Dubai, visited BCCI and met with the President of the Chamber Tsvetan Simeonov.
The purpose of his visit was to get acquainted with the activities of BCCI and discuss possible ways of cooperation. The commercial attaché was informed of the structure of the Chamber and the advantages of a well-developed system of 28 regional chambers. The databases were presented, including the Trade Register with information on 53 000 members and the accounting records of more than 6 000 companies.
During the meeting the excellent cooperation of BCCI with the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and some related organizations was noted.
Mr. Tsvetan Simeonov expressed the willingness of BCCI to assist STEI for the implementation of joint initiatives aiming at the continuation of the tendency for significant growth of the bilateral trade and in particular of the Bulgarian export to UAE.
