Since its establishment in June 2013, the Bilateral Chamber of Commerce Bulgaria - Romania (BCCBR) with President Doru Dragomir has organized a number of useful business initiatives, round tables and discussions, business delegations and meetings between Bulgarian and Romanian companies to strengthen the bilateral cooperation.
A reception was organized at the Romanian Embassy in Sofia on the occasion of the ninth anniversary of the establishment of the Bilateral Chamber of Commerce Bulgaria - Romania. Representatives of the business community, diplomats, journalists and many guests attended the event.
The President of BCCI Tsvetan Simeonov was among the official guests of the event and greeted the participants saying that “Since the first day of the establishment of the Bilateral Chamber of Commerce Bulgaria - Romania we have been working together on key topics concerning the Bulgarian - Romanian economic relations. Bulgaria and Romania share a common goal of improving and expanding the energy and transport infrastructure that connects the two countries and work to build new bridges and ferry connections across the Danube to encourage contacts between people and businesses. The role of Bulgaria and Romania in forming a continuous space of the EU is strategic. There are many opportunities for business initiatives and economic cooperation between the two neighboring countries. The competition between Sofia and Bucharest makes us stronger.”
The upcoming opening of an office of the Bilateral Chamber of Commerce Bulgaria - Romania in Ruse was announced at the event.
