Meeting with a diplomatic mission from Ethiopia

The President of BCCI met with H.E. Adem Mohamed Mahmud, the newly appointed Ambassador of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia in Ankara, accredited for Bulgaria. The meeting was also attended by Yohannes Ejigu Tessema, Counsellor at the Embassy of Ethiopia in Turkey, and Eng. Seife Bekele W Aregay, Honorary Consul of Ethiopia in our country.

The meeting was dedicated to the possibilities for expansion of the economic partnership, based on the traditionally good relations between Bulgaria and Ethiopia. Ambassador Adem Mohamed Mahmud got acquainted with the work of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and its contacts with partner organizations from Africa. He noted that there is potential for cooperation in the following sectors: construction, mining, telecommunications, food industry, renewable energy, light industry, etc. Ethiopia produces and exports coffee, sesame, flowers, spices and many other raw materials and goods.
