Initiatives to promote economic cooperation between Bulgaria and Pakistan continue

Irena Gancheva, newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Bulgaria to Pakistan, visited the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and talked with its President Tsvetan Simeonov about the priorities of her mission. In addition to increasing Bulgarian exports to the Asian country, Ambassador Gancheva is determined to support the deepening of cooperation between various institutions and regional structures from both countries, as well as the work of the bilateral joint commission.

Tsvetan Simeonov presented the results of a recent virtual event organized by BCCI and the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry. Pakistani companies are proactive, he said, and Bulgarian companies need to respond accordingly. A Joint Business Council was established during the event. More than 20 Bulgarian companies confirmed their interest in participating and joined the work of the council, whose main goal is to deepen the bilateral economic relations.
