BCCI reminds companies to use the online services of its Trade Register

In recent years, investments in innovation and initiatives in the field of digital transformation strategically have been in the focus of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. BCCI invests heavily in the digitalization of the services it provides to companies. Our efforts have been focused on implementing innovations based on modern IT solutions, as well as on technological, architectural and organizational changes required to ensure more effective process management and more flexibility of our services.

As early as 2014 the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry was certified by ICC – Paris for electronic registration and certification of electronic documents.

The results of our targeted work in this area are especially visible now in the complicated epidemiological situation in Sofia and the country.

BCCI once again reminds its clients of the possibility to apply for and use the services of the “Trade Register and Membership” Directorate online and remotely as follows:

Documents for:

  • Initial (new) registration of companies, associations, etc.;
  • Registration of Trade Representative Offices of foreign entities;
  • Changes and updates in the registered circumstances;
  • Issuance of Certificates with data from the Trade Register on the current status of the registered entities,

can be submitted by e-mail, with enclosed scanned accompanying documents, or can be sent by courier. The payment can also be made online, with all common ways of payment available at BCCI’s website.

The ready Certificates/Decisions will be sent by BCCI to the clients by courier to an address specified by them.

In case the submitted documents do not meet the requirements for registration, respectively for the issuance of a Certificate about the status of the entity, BCCI’s employees in Sofia and the 28 regional chambers of commerce and industry are available for consultations by phone, e-mail, skype, viber. The Certificate/Decision will be issued after the problem is resolved.

Certificates of Origin of goods, printed on the special official forms of BCCI, signed by an authorized representative of the Exporter with enclosed proofs of the origin and declarations of the exported goods, with affixed stamps of BCCI in compliance with the Chamber’s Tariff of Rates of services, can also be submitted by post or courier, and the ready document certified by BCCI will be sent back to the Exporters by courier to an address specified by them.

The filled-in forms for issuance of ATA Carnet, accompanied by 2 copies of the Contract for its issuance, signed by the representative of the Carnet’s Holder, and with enclosed payment documents for paid deposit and fee for the issuance of the ATA Carnet in compliance with the Chamber’s Tariff of Rates of services, can also be sent to BCCI by courier, and the ready ATA Carnet will be sent back to the Holder by courier to an address specified by him.

BCCI is working on several other significant projects in the field of digitalization of services that add value for businesses at high security levels.

The Chamber uses this opportunity to note that the e-government, which has been declared a priority by several Bulgarian governments and for which significant resources have been allocated, still does not respond to the requirements of the current situation in the country and needs to be implemented at an accelerated pace.
