Bulgaria's gross domestic product (GDP) amounted to BGN 47,086.7 million in the last quarter of 2022 and was up by 2.1% from the same period last year and up by 0.5% from the third quarter of 2022, according to seasonally adjusted data, the National Statistical Institute said in flash estimates.
The gross value added (GVA) in the last quarter of 2022 amounted to BGN 42,694.9 million and was up by 2.8% from the same period last year. The final consumption shows an increase of 4.7% while gross fixed capital formation went down by 3.3%.
The export of goods and services increased by 7.2% and the import by 10.7%.
The stepping up of economic growth from the previous quarter of 2022 is driven by a 1.4% increase in final consumption.
