The international creative industries conference CreaTech Summit South-East Europe will take place at the centre for contemporary arts Toplocentrala in Sofia on March 1, the organizers said. The event is organized by the Bulgarian Small and Medium Enterprises Promotion Agency (BSMEPA) and CreaTech Bulgaria.
Representatives of various creative industries from Bulgaria and abroad, including game development, film and television, photography, design and architecture will participate in the conference. The guestlist features companies from Turkiye, Romania, Serbia, North Macedonia, Austria, Spain, Denmark, Belgium, who will share their experience and allow for the establishment of new partnerships.
Genoveva Hristova, head of CreaTech Bulgaria, said: "We find the creative industries to be the engine of the new era". She is confident that Bulgaria's creative industries are competitive on the international market.
The cultural and creative industries play an important role in the modern development of society and are at the heart of the creative economy. Based on intensive knowledge and on individual creativity and talent, they generate significant economic wealth and help shape the identity, culture and values of any developing nation.
Registering for the conference can be done for free at the BSMEPA website by February 24.
