“Slovakia is among the European countries that are leaders in the car manufacturing and the car parts production and Bulgaria will seek closer cooperation in this field,” President of the Republic of Bulgaria Rosen Plevneliev said in Bratislava, Slovakia, where together with his Slovak counterpart, Ivan Gasparovic, he opened a Slovak-Bulgarian business forum, the press centre of the President’s Office announced.
“Bulgaria did much and now there are more than 15.000 people employed in this economic sector. Only in the past few months 15 new car parts production capacities were opened in the country,” Plevneliev remarked, speaking before more than 50 representatives of the Bulgarian and Slovak business.
Both President Plevneliev and his Slovak counterpart Gasparovic were unanimous that countries with similar economic structure, like Bulgaria and Slovakia, were obliged to encourage the dialogue between the businesses in the two countries in the search of common solutions for sustainable development.
