Producer Price Index on Domestic Market in December 2013 remained at the level of the previous month, while compared to the same month of 2012 the domestic prices fell by 2.8%, according to official data by Bulgaria's National Statistical Institute PUBLISHED ON 30th January 2014. Total Producer Price Index decreased by 0.2% compared to the previous month, while compared to the same month of 2012 the prices fell by 2.9%.
In the manufacturing, compared to the previous month the prices went up in the manufacture of basic pharmaceutical products and pharmaceutical preparations by 0.8% and in the manufacture of tobacco products by 0.7%, while a price decrease was reported in the repair and installation of machinery and equipment by 0.5% and in the manufacture of fabricated metal products, except machinery and equipment by 0.4%.
