Bulgarian economy before and during the coronavirus, performance of key economic sectors, opportunities and prospects in light of EU’s current priorities as well as Bulgaria’s potential for a greater participation in European supply chains – these are among the topics in a study by the Economic Policy Institute authored by Yasen Georgiev, Dragomir Belchev and Mariana Trifonova. The study is included in a larger publication entitled “The Bulgarian Economy before and during the Coronavirus Disease Pandemic: Challenges, Opportunities and Prospects in the Context of the European Union”. This publication came out as a joint project of the German-Bulgarian Chamber of Industry and Commerce and the Konrad Adenauer Foundation Bulgaria.
